This additive is designed to be used with Global DG to produce the textured finish found as original equipment on parts of some vehicles. Texture Additive D843 provides a matt, suede effect.
Preparation of Substrate:
Prepare metal and painted surfaces by flatting and cleaning with appropriate PPG cleaner. See substrate preparation guide in the Global Refinish System Product Manual for full process details.
Clean plastic surfaces with Bodykleen followed by D846 Degreasing Agent for Plastics and prepare with appropriate primer. See PPG Guide to Painting Plastics in the Substrate Preparation Section of the Global Refinish System Product Manual.
